Fall Feasts 2015 starting up soon!!

We are just a few weeks away from the first of the fall feasts, Feast of Trumpets!! This will start on the evening of Sept 13th and go until sundown the next day. This day is also known traditionally as Rosh Hashanah or the head of the New Year. This calendar new year is not the new year of the Biblical calendar but of the civil. Just like the U.S has a fiscal year calendar which starts on October 1th, this one starts on Tishre 1. The Biblical calendar starts on Nissan 1, which then 15 days later starts Passover.

This will be our fourth cycle of keeping the Biblical feasts. We have been blessed in keeping God's feasts and ways versus man's traditions.

I hope you take the time to ask questions or do research about the Biblical feasts... they are no more Jewish than marriage is. Shabbat is not Jewish either! Marriage was given to Adam and Eve, from the beginning just as Shabbat was given to us humans as a gift from the Creator. It is not Jewish either!! It just so happens that the Jews are the one who preserved the Holy One's decrees. But now, we are awakening to see what a gift they truly are!

Apples and honey are traditionally eaten at this time, to represent the sweetness of Him.

We hope to hike to the top of the mountain again this year and blow our shofars, a practice to welcoming the return of our King!!
